What is SlangDefinition

SlangDefinition is a modern slang dictionary that provides you with definitions of popular slang words, phrases, acronyms, abbreviations, initialisms and hashtags.

But we give you more than just a single definition! Alternative definitions, usage examples and notes about context, term history and etymology are all important things to know if you want to really understand an unfamiliar slang term.

History of SlangDefinition

SlangDefinition was created in 2014. It was a pretty basic website that defined a few slang terms which were popular at the time. Unfortunately, the site was neglected and years went by with no updates.

In 2021, the site was completely redesigned. The goal is to provide that same simple website, but with a greater quantity and quality of content.

Future of SlangDefinition

We intend to continue adding new slang terms on a regular basis. We want to identify and create content about new slang terms as they emerge and become popular.
